Most people are unaware of the fact that electric cars have been around for years. It’s all about being familiar with how to operate it, instead of how good it might actually be to try electric cars. Now that there is a need to conserve energy, it would be a good idea to use electric cars instead of fuel-run vehicles. Here are the top ten electric cars that are to be released in the future: 1.2014 Chevrolet Spark EV Despite the fact that the first unit has been sold in the US just this month, it hasn’t been released to the public officially. The interior of the car is also designed minimally, only using sustainable fabrics that make it seem more stylish and modern. 4. 2014 Cadillac ELR Behind the sleek car is a modern car that has components which may not be usable in other vehicles yet, and operates the same 1.4 litre gasoline engine of the Volt. What sets it apart is that it creates more power and torque, and has the sleek design that most electric cars do not have. The electric range might be disadvantageous though, as it runs at around 35 miles. 5.  2014 Mitsubishi Outlander Plug-in Hybrid Boasting a big, and modern style, it has a greener Powertrain than the previous Outlanders that Mitsubishi released before. Although unconfirmed, the electric range is foreseen to be around 20 to 25 miles. Once the electricity depletes, a backup power could still operate the car, or operate in parallel hybrid modes. It has a 2.0 liter gasoline engine, 245 pounds-feet of torque in its electric-only mode. 6.
